To encourage and assist skills development and training in the greater northern region of NSW.

The Greater Northern Skills Development Group Inc is an independent not for profit association established to encourage and assist skills development within the New England and Northwest Its key objective is to promote skills development and training support industry and community and develop communication strategies.

2008 TRAINING AWARDS PRESENTATION NIGHT - "OUTSTANDING SUCCESS" (25-Jul-08)
The 2008 Awards Night was an outstanding success with 41 finalists and a sellout 330 people attending the night at West Leagues in Tamworth on 4 July 2008.  This years event was the first presented by the Greater Northern Skills Development Group Inc. and it was an entertaining and professional conducted evening.  The MC for the night was Kevin Anderson who kept the audience involved and engrossed from the start at 7pm till the conclusion at 10.15pm.  The category winners will represent our region very strongly at the 2008 State Awards in Sydney on 4 September 2008.  The category winners are shown below.
